For those of you who don't know, Grand Rapids is a cool town. Over the last couple of weeks it transformed into a cool little art show.
Artprize is the name of this municipal change of persona, and it refers to the $250,000 grand prize for whichever piece of art is voted the favorite. Viewers may vote via a very American Idol-esque text-your-vote method, giving each piece either a thumbs up or thumbs down. Hatter and Sarah and I went on Sunday after church, and then Hatter and I went back Tuesday to explore some more. Here are some pictures; let us know what you think!
I am definitely voting for the mosaic! I am still amazed at the details on that one! Although, those chicks are extra cute with Hatter in the picture! :)
